I have a loved one who was sentenced to life in the California prison system, that was brought on by judicial and social injustices. Upon examining his case it was apparent that there were many errors in his sentencing such as a lack of effective counsel, and excessive sentencing that did not substantiate the allegations.
As you can imagine, serving 21 years of his sentence has caused him to lose all hope, therefore, accepting his fate of life in prison. Having a loved one in prison is a difficult situation for a family to bear. It causes an overwhelming feeling of helplessness and loss of hope.
Fortunately, a friend of mine recommended The Last Chance Project (TLCP). The Last Chance Project is a small group of people who really have a desire to help people. They fully understand the social and judicial injustices that are often imparted upon victims of recidivism.
I contacted The Last Chance Project, which is organized by the Chief Associate, Paul Adams, concerning my loved one in prison. I had the privilege of speaking to Paul and Chad, one of the organization's associates, about the situation involving my loved one's prison sentence. They gave me their undivided attention and answered all my questions. When I was able to discuss this meeting with my loved one, we decided to move forward with the assistance of TLCP.
I can't express enough, the gratitude and appreciation of the sincerity and caring attitude that The Last Chance Project associates exhibit in attempting to resolve any injustices bestowed upon a victim that is incarcerated. TLCP is clearly cognizant of the hardships, demoralizations, and helplessness that the victims, as well as their families, must endure. The Last Chance Project carefully and diligently works to provide you with honest answers as to your situation and what the prognoses may be.
I'm so glad we found TLCP. Our case is still open, and they are diligently working to help my family. I have full trust and confidence in their abilities and desire to help people who have been wrongly imprisoned.
If you need legal help for an imprisoned family member or friend, please reach out to The Last Chance Project. They will evaluate each case, however different, with the same values of dedication and integrity.
